Where to live... where to live...
Me and a moderator of this forum, Renegade, were having an interesting discussion on MSN about time zones and where I'd like to move. Currently I'm living in Maine, on the east coast, but I find out west just be an overall better place to live... I mean think about it...
I hang out with a lot of online friends, many of them live on the west coast... and normally when I sign off, they sign off... the thing is though, I don't go to bed 'till 3 or 4 in the morning, while it's only 12 to 1 AM there time when they go to bed... it just doesn't seem fair... does anybody else see it this way? Earlier just always seems to be better... when I'm getting up early for school, they're still sleeping, when I'm going to bed on a school night when I'd like to stay up later, they still have three more hours 'till they need to sleep! BLAH! It just doesn't seem fair, and these north eastern folk I've grown up with all my life are real assholes.
Anyway, I guess you could classify this as a rant but I'm just looking for your opinions the topic of where is the best time zone/area to live in?

Ummm were talking about the Internet here right?
Your thinking about moving out west because thats where your internet friends are at?
People you have never met before?
Docent that sound just a little........Ummm Strange to you?
Life is what you make of it, where ever you make it!
You want to move out west, do it because thats what you want to do.
Do it because thats where you think you can make a better life.
But to do it because of people you know from the web live
I'm sorry but thats just not thinking with your head!

I live in Vancouver and I would not move from here for a 6 figure pay cheque. I grew up in Ontario where it's one extreme to another. Winter -15ºc/5Fº & Summer's over 30ºc/86ºF. It's beautiful here all year long. The ocean and the mountains. The city is very new and state-of-the-art. The general atmosphere is pretty laid back and relaxed. Everyone is friendly.
VAncouver was accually voted best place in the world to live for the year 2003/2003. Based on cleanliness, affordability, and other stuff

Driver 7, you lived at all in saskatchewan..... or gone through it on certain days?... we just hit 43*C the other day..... blast furnace..... and then durring the last winter... we nailed -40*C.... and this is all without talking about humidity or windchill..... with that in thought... there times when i remember walking through -38*C.... windchill brought it up to -80 to -90..... hella cold.... Humidity is the same as windchill.... 40*C feels like 80 sometimes..... we've got some of the wildest temp changes.... 80*C changes...
