how does this happen?
OK as you know my friends are at quakecon... well one of my friends just won a brand new Asylum 256 meg card (GeforceFX 5900 Ultra)... so yea... i am a bit jealous right now... since he has the best card in the world...

Personally I think the AIW 9600 is the best card in the world... But I guess the 5900 is the best for GFX.

then i realise... hey has an ECS K7S5A mobo, Athlon XP 2100 PALOMINO, 256 megs of PC2100, no internet, a 30 gig hard drive, and onboard sound... thus meaning... he has NOTHING to compliment his new video card... |

hmm.......do you think you can talk him out of it?? He really doesn't have enough of a system to run that card worth a shit, and does he have enough of a PSU? Although personally I think that the 9800 Pro is a better card for IQ and driver support........both cards are pretty much even in performance.

sigh... my friend is trying to gloat about his video card. Mind you he STILL got 400 points lower than i did on 3dmark03... so i had to wip out the whole "Your computer shall never compare to mine!!!" thing
edit: OH!!! i just blocked him and before i did i said " So i bid you adue (that french word for goodbye) and goodnight!" and i blocked him. I bet he's pissed...
