PHEW!!! (more than words can ever describe)
ok... well i got the bright idea to flash the bios on my brand new video card thus making my default speeds 275/270... well i used atiflash to do that and my video cards bios got corrupted... meaning my computer wouldnt even boot. So i panicked and got out a pci card and tried to fix it... i got the same error as before... so then i went and i searched on the net on my other computer and came across a forum with a bunch of users with that problem and a solution! I got flashrom from the site along with the original bios... so i used flashrom and the original bios only to find that it wasnt MY cards original bios. It was the Sapphire Radeon 9500 128 meg black pcb... but if you remember... my old defaults were 250/250... but now they are 275/270!!! HAPPY ME!

Now, now, dont clock both at once.......clock the memory first until you reach its max, then that ought to give an idea on your clocks.....remember Memory > Core....

Maybe you should do a volt mod or something. I doubt it's the cooling that's the problem.

My current 9500np is 3.3ns but it clocks to 320mhz. Well general. I suggest flashing back to the ORIGNAL bios (if you still have it) then try overclocking again.

and it seems to have made a difference because with my card at 275/290 i only saw the artifacts because i was looking for them directly... they are mostly small and tiny (i played ut2k3...)
