I also do it for tech support, when my DSL died I got the aim screename of this woman named Diana who was one of their troubleshooting people.

Well, me personally, when they don't answer the first time I say "hello?" I start to sing it like an opera singer HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO?????? Even after they say "HI". I like to fu*k with telemarketers.

I hit on a woman from the Asus RMA department, she said she'd e-mail me, anyone here think she actually will? lol

I had one of the best pre recorded conversations with a telemarketer. I had all of my dialog and sound effects pre-prepared on my computer.

Me: hello? Who is this?
Them: this is someone selling something
Me: Really? I really could use that
Them: I can---(I cut them off)
Me: hold on a second *gunshot sound* *scream*
Them: what ws that?
Me: nothing, never mind. What were you selling agian? *helicopter sounds heard in the middle of my sentence*
Them: I'm selling this
Me: Yes, I (sound from a bullhorn) "Release the hostages or we will open fire!"
They hung up.

The other 2 people I tried it on both hung up after the gunshot/screaming.

i like doing it to the guys... they get really freaked out. Especially when i lower my voice even more...

www.powerfx.com there are some great sound effects there... next time a telemarketer calls i am going to play the "plane taking off" and "plane landing" a bunch and interuppting them saying that i live RIGHT next to an airport...

I just put telemarketers down. I tell them to get a real job and stop invading people's privacy.

Once that Do-Not-call list goes into effect (October, I believe), I'll be asking them for THEIR information to make sure they get charged that $11,000 fine, or they can send it directly to me, whichever they wish to choose. HA HA.

Basically though, we just have an answering machine that says: All incoming calls are screened to filter out worthless telemarketers, everybody else leave a message.
