My server went out at sometime around 4 and its still not up. Its at a hosting center in NYC, so I'm not sure if they have lost power still or if they are working on setting up their higher end clients first.

Back up for now !!!!!
Kingston, Ontario .....
Power went out about 4:00pm Thurs afternoon and came on briefly about midnight and went back out.
I woke up at 4:50 am and my clock radio was flashing 1:00am ....
Which means the power had been back on since about 3:50 am or so ...
We still may experience intermitant power outages and A State of Emergency has been declared in Kingston for our water supply. The power outage caused one of our sewage systems to backup into a local river .
Other than that all is cool

I was lucky in my condo our building has its own emergency generator so the elevators and emergency lights etc. never actually went down. I must admit it was eering driving home from work though Thursday afternoon and not a single traffic light anywhere was functional.. every intersection was a 4-way stop. People were very cool about it though.
Some nearby smaller cities that also regained power Thr evening lost it again on Friday morning and were without power all day friday as well.
