I'm only on number two...
...but I'm laughing to hard to keep reading them right now. (I should be fighting my daughter about a nap...but I need a break from the battle. )
I actually had this problem a number of times when I was working as a SysOp out at US Steel...we had the damnedest time finding some boxes sometimes even though we could access them perfectly fine across the network. (Then again, the plant is about 3x5 miles or so...)

<xterm> The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Nothing at all against Americans, but you got to admit, it is funny! But then you read the next one...
