today i spilled some alcoholic liquid on my chieftec wireless keyborad amd ruined it now im forced to use a white multimedia keyboard which is white and my system is a silver .why does this bother me .why is the color of my keyboard a big deal am i nuts you decide

LOL I don't think your crazy. You have to have everything the same color. If you don't it just doesn't seem right.

Why do you feel bad? I thought that would make you feel good. I have everything the same color and so does my husband. It just makes the system look cooler.

ebay its a chieftech.wonder if i can go to target ang get a decent one
althought the one im using is ok.its just awkward lol

I like the 'frankenstein' look of a system with mismatched components. I think it brings an air of self-made to the thing. Makes me enjoy it better at least, don't know about you guys. I can't be the only one who feels that way... can I? ;p

im just like that with everything.its not that bad of a keyboard it has some silver but man it bothers the crap out of me lol.compusa is a good idea ill check it out.i should just invest in an optical mouse ?

Just get a can of spray paint, make it silver yourself may be some work but depends on what is cheaper a new keyboard or a can of spray paint and your time.

Are you sure the keyboard is gone? Have you tried to take it apart and clean it out, I mean there isn't alot of voltage going through there so you might have a chance to save it, just clean it out with some rubbing alcohol that usually gets most of the crap in there, let it dry and see if it works, this has saved me from buying alot of new parts.

yes i was going to try and salvage it but i threw it in the trash last night so ist gone.guess what i bought a new one lol cost me 20 bucks and it matches so nice with a nice mouse thats scroll button lights up .also i was strolling threw the ilse and found gta3 and yep i bought it.so im going to start a new thread on that issue lol.thanks again for replying to my board madness.stayed tuned to more pc madness lol.goodnight all
