Very proud!
I just wanted to tell everyone here how proud I am of my 7 yr. old girl. She played in the 7-9 yr. old girls softball league and last night they had thier end of the season tournament. Well they won the first game but lost the championship game. Nonethless I am so proud of her, it was her first year and she came a long way. She started the year not being able to hit the ball at all out of the pitching machine and wanted to quit. I asked her to not quit and let me help her one on one. Well by the middle if the year she was batting over .750. I am very proud of her wanting to learn and trying to get better. She was one of their best players at the end of the season. To add another point her team was the youngest out there. They may have finished second in the tournament and league but they all finished first to me.
ANGELS, 2003 Girls Softball League Tournament Second Place Finishers!

Excellent!! There needs to be more Daddies in the world like you! She is a lucky girl, and a good person for overcoming her lack of ability early on. Hope you got her the BIGGEST pizza you could find.

Oh I am so proud of her. Even if she never hit the ball all year just for her trying I still would have been the proudest dad out there. I mean she tried so hard and it paid off. After practice and games she would still want to get out there and practice with me. Thanks for the nice thoughts guys! We appreciate it!

Nothing can beat that feeling of pride when you watch one of your kids. My son used to
play football every Saturday morning for the local team. He won the man of the match
trophy a couple of times and at the end of the season they presented him with a trophy
for being the Most Improved Player in the team. Happy days !

oh yes
my daughter got a scholarship to college and my son played defensive line for his freshman year in highschool, he had to try so hard, because he is basically built like a fireplug, but he leaned to run and tackle and lifted wieghts for a whole year and bulked up, I have a shoe box full of photos of him knocking down the opposition and defending the quarterback...I will always treasure those...now he thinks he is ready for women.....sigh....what can I tell him....
