Its mac daddies birthday today, and I hope he gets alot of nice presents from his family and friends.

My Sister and my Mum don't have coats of arms (they're girls and not allowed them - most of the time) but they have similar things called "lozenges" (iirc) based of my Dads coat of arms.

My daughter
october 2, just a few days after my birthday and a day after I returned from a deployment to Korea...I went right from the ship to the labor and delivery floor of the hospital and spent all night with her mother...I got to hold her when she emerged during the C-section...I can never comprehend the magic of life, but it was magical and wonderful...

A drawing of my girls hands on paper with a poem my wife wrote on it. It was very sweet and the one of the best gifts I ever got!

I would have to say that it was the Cease Fire in the first Gulf War, it just happen to fall in my B-Day out in the middle of hell. Though it was still several month's before I finally got home.
