Peace of mind, faith in mankind, and hope for the future. I remember it well, it was my 29th birthday.
Happy BD MacDaddy, I hope this day brings you some surprising kindness & joy.

My personal coat of arms from my Dad
Exactly the same as his, but with a special mark to indicate I'm his firstborn son. My Brother has exactly the same thing but with a 2nd son marking. My Sister and my Mum don't have coats of arms (they're girls and not allowed them - most of the time) but they have similar things called "lozenges" (iirc) based of my Dads coat of arms.

My mom gave me a winning lottery ticket once. It was worth 2000$. I gave half to my mom, 500$ to my dad and kept 500 for myself.

My daughter
october 2, just a few days after my birthday and a day after I returned from a deployment to Korea...I went right from the ship to the labor and delivery floor of the hospital and spent all night with her mother...I got to hold her when she emerged during the C-section...I can never comprehend the magic of life, but it was magical and wonderful...

A drawing of my girls hands on paper with a poem my wife wrote on it. It was very sweet and the one of the best gifts I ever got!

I would have to say that it was the Cease Fire in the first Gulf War, it just happen to fall in my B-Day out in the middle of hell. Though it was still several month's before I finally got home.

I wouldn't remember, and I think we threw it away. I saw it again on a movie we saw in class, said it was like apples second stream of computers. The whole thing was about the size of half a concrete block and it only had a floppy, was in black and white, and the screen was like 4 inches.

My younger brother of 4 years was born on my birthday.
Same day, 4 years after me, I was born at 7 in the morning and he was born at 7 at night. I do remember it, and remember the joke about my brother being my "present". We still celebrate out birthdays together. Pretty good present I guess.
I was born 7/6/72 - 7am
he was born 7/6/76 - 7pm
Our Social security numbers are strangely similar.... w/ lots of 7's and 6's- it's weird.

Yeah, I know all that, but they made 4 different models of them. I have 3 of the 4. They were identical other than speed and memory size. One of them had a hard drive.

Once again kiddo I am indeed 36 years old(and 1 day lol)
I consider age just a number my friend ...... maturity is what makes us who we are.
And speaking of which ..
I think your offer of hosting images on DH for those without the resourses and sticking up for Blue with Jeff on Heavenly Visions very admiral indeed......
You got off to a bit of a rough start ... but I think you are certainly becoming a valued and respected member of DH !!
Keep up the good work my friend

It's a nice gesture, but I don't see myself going very far if any farther all at DH. I seem to have made some enemies as well amongst the posters here.

Well then maybe you should try and rectify that.
^_^ this is a friendly forum. I got mad at you because you openly disrespected Zardon and this site.
That was a while ago ........ And I had dismissed it ......
At times I see something in you that might help on the forums ... other times .. I don't
Any reason for that ??
PM me if you wish

Friendship
if we can communicate...
we can be friends...
if we can be friends, there can be friendship
if there is any friendship, there can be forgiveness..
if there is forgiveness there is room to grow..
to grow, to mature, to embrace the idea...
that nobody, absolutely nobody is perfect....
If you were perfect ^_^, then you would be pretty boring, ha ha..
stick to imperfection and become what you want to be, not what others want you to be..
honor means being honorable, that means admitting that you have faults and so do we...
embrace the imperfection and strive for honor, be true to your friends and be true to yourself..
as far as I am concerned you are my friend and like many others, a member of the family...
Embrace the family and we will embrace you.....
take care kid....
