Hell yeah I'm gunna try to OC it... I've already talked to Cereal Killer and he said his XP1700 went up to 2400+ mhz w/ a Abit NF7-S, I'm sure my A7N8X is capable of doing the same.. we'll see.

Well, frankly, 2400+ (2GHz) is one of the lower overclocks I've heard of when it comes to the 1700+ JIUHB! I've got mine clocked to 2900+ (2.33GHz) but I've heard of scores of people hitting 2.5GHz.
Have fun!

Remember to push that chip in stages....don't go straight to 2.4GHz...keep the multiplier at the stock 11.0 and up the FSB to 166 instead of 133 (that will give you 1834MHz) @ 1.5V. Then you may wanna try 200Mhz x 11.0 (2.2GHz) @ 1.7 or 1.75V and go from there.
Hope you have fun this weekend...and remember that if you have any other questions, I, myself, and many other here on this board are more than happy to help you out tek!
Laterz!

He meant to say 2.4GHz and not 2400+. I got my 1700+ chip running 2.45GHz (no plus )
See sig...

Hehe... exactly... sorry bout that misunderstanding
I see what you mean Cereal... first try 166x11 @ 1.5V.. then if thats stable go to 200x11 @ 1.75V (what now... lower voltage by .05 increments and see if things are still stable... or raise the FSB by like 5 @ that voltage and see if things are still stable.. if not raise voltage, and repeat that?).
Thanks again.

Most 2.0 board are getting between 220-225 for the FSB. At least that's what i see from other forums. Usually a VDD mod helps to get higher.
