Messenger Password!!!???
WTF is up with Windows Messenger!!!!
Ive encountered this problem before but normailly it corrects itself!! When I startup my PC messenger loads at startup. It automatically signs in and everything is fine. Now, however, it doesent!!!! It attempts to login but fails. I try to log in manually - keying my email and password - but still it fails, telling me PASSWORD is INCORRECT!!! Problem is I never change my Messenger Password! Anyone else have the same problem  Dont tell me to dump Messenger and go with Trillian. I like Messenger and use it regularly to chat and assist my friends PCs via Remote Assistance  For some reason Messenger has forgotten my PASSWORD. Im not sure why, i havent changed or configured anything differently. Im just needing an explanation WHY!!!  nme |

MSN's server's go down a lot, I have several accounts and sometimes a few can't login, if it's actually forgetting the password remove the entry altogether in the user control panel and try adding a new one

But why...
surely a password is a password I install any Messenger updates when required. Why should my password refuse me access If my account is still active, why should it refuse me access via my original password EDIT: Just seen your post Criag. Thats what ive done on other occasions. What im wondering is why, though!!! nme |

unless someone has logged in with your account , changed your password or msn is messed up
I'd try changeing your password |

Even now (three days later) messenger will not allow me to connect under my original password!!
I think ill have to go in and change my password again!!! Has anyone else had this problem nme |

i use trillian...only have trouble connecting to yahoo msgr...msn always works for me. sorry man.

me too:but usually i only have to retype my password then it's ok for a while. happens around every 3-4 sign in attempts. |
