I'm Getting An Air Conditioner!!!
I've never had an air conditioner the 8 (soon to be 9) years I've lived here! And I live in southern california and my room has no circulation, the window is useless so during the summer I average 97 degrees! This is gonna be so sweet! I can't wait!!

Just make sure you get one with enough BTUs to do the job.

We were going to pick up one at sears cause we just have to pay 10 bux a month.
We are thinkin about getting
http://www.sears.com/sr/product/summ...id=02273069000
And it's only for my room/the bathroom. All the other rooms in the house stay pretty cool, my room and the bathroom are the only problem.

Well you don't want too much either, otherwise it just flips on and off all the time and that wastes ALOT of electricity, so find one of the websites that helps you figure out how much you need

5000 btus is usually enough to cool a standard size room.
My mom got a crazy 38000btu air conditoner to cool our entire old house, but we need 240 volt lines to run it in this house and it would cost a fourtune to run it anyways.

that is the one i recommend and it is the one that I am going to try and get here pretty soon for our room so I can once again o/c the hell outta this computer
this one is ultra easy to use
it has to where you can set it for one temp and it will turn on and off just like central air would
it also has a remote for the laziness in all of us
and its designed to be almost dead silent
