"FUZE" drinks (refresh, a coca-cola product)
Anyone run into these yet, tried them?
I'm not a fan of energy drinks or boosters of any kind... Fuze isn't really a "booster" or "energy" drink of any kind.... However it's like a Fruit juice loaded with vitamins and minerals drink that isn't over the top.. It's not fizzy, it's a fruit juice drink. and it's not like those V8 fruity drinks either.... it's actually.... *omg* very very good. There are about 8 flavour combinations i'm aware of.. Usually in the mix of various flavours, i only typically have one or maybe 3 at most, favorites or most liked. But this is quite different, they are all very very good. Now granted it states clearly ONE PER DAY AT MOST ADULTS ONLY (essentially)..... but recently i've found myself grabbing one every morning and what i can say is this: It's shown improvement in every proceeding morning and continueously throughtout the day. If i miss a morning i notice quite a significant drop in my ability. Quite interesting. Be aware though, i don't have coffee at all every morning, don't drink anything caffine aside from the occasional can of coke...... The cost of the product isn't that high either considering what it costs for the other drinks. ATM i got a banana colada drink, i've had them all, they are genuinely a good drink to have... and even when they are warm, they are still good which most juices aren't that great at all warm....

Um... I never saw a fruit juice that had an "at most one per day" warning on it?!
How much of it actually comes from real fruit?

It has the warning because is has pretty much an entire daily intakes worth of the vitimins and minerals.
While Vit C you can't overdose on.. you just piss it out.. Vit A or B in large doses can kill you. Not to mention other minerals and vit. But some vit can sevearly cause permanent physical damage if you exceed what your body can use. Some of the bottles say MAX one per day, some say 2 BUT with several hours between (interesting)... It's considered a health drink with the neato logo and all. Which i've yet to see ANY other drink that's saposed to be "booster" type... have.

Yup I drink them on a regular basis, not daily though. They sell it up here in BC, Canada in 7-Elevens. Too bad they only have 3 flavors or so.

I'll look for it next time I'm at the grocery store or convenience store though I'm wary of such drinks. I went to the site and checked out the nutritional labels and they are quite low in calories and don't use aspartame which is interesting.
I'd still prefer water over this drink for workouts and daily hydration but it sounds like it would be good for movie watching or a substitute for pop or alcohol.
