Heard on the radio today that legendary guitarist with Pink Floyd, Dave Gilmour sold his £3.4 million mansion and gave all the money to a charity to help with homeless people.

He sure does have a distinct style of guitar playing. The last time I saw him live was incredible. It was Floyd not his solo tour but it was still great.

Ah Jeez
Lot's of blues slide guitar players out there too. But I am surprised with David Gilmours reputation that he gave so much. He must have had something more than philanthropic satisfaction from this, but he is an artist, and we are know to lead with our hearts not our minds, perhaps this will knock down more bricks in the wall.

I must profess my devoted support for all gilmour does too. I'm so pleased he's still going and making an impression on the scene. He's what made Pink Floyd in my opinion, and I can't wait till he releases something again.

Wish I had that kind of money....not that I would give it all to charity.....just wish I had that kind of money.
But yeah, that's a pretty cool thing to do for one who is so fortunate and talented.
