I am PK from California, and have joined for the
valuable research I have enjoyed reading on this site
(although the black screen is not friendly on my systems).

With a background in recording studio and album production,
I am focused on MIDI and uCapps MidiBox applications these days.

Creating an hybrid touring theatre pipe organ and "retro-tech"
computerized 12-screen multi-media production and the museum
project demonstrating the physics of sound and music using kX
and jOrgan, and the restoration of our local WurliTzer 216 theatre organ
fills me with questions this list helps me answer, so I decided to join,
not just lurk.

Ooh, @ Administrator or such. While registering I encountered various problems. First one is that my e-mailadress was blocked (then used other email). Then I wanted to click the contact button but it doesn't work properly. Just want to let you know

Hello I'm Liz...ahem...the lone female on this site?!?!? You guys gotta get out more! lol ANYway...I'm a total NEWB here, but I'm an illustrator and I'm trying to upgrade my ancient dinosaur laptop and I found this site whilst looking for drivers for my stoopid video card which is so old it's probably hopeless. (like me!) But I digress.
THe only reason I joined is because you guys seem really nice and helpful and kinda kool in a geeky sort of way! So maybe I can get some help and learn some stuff about "modding" my laptop? That is all. Roger willco, over & out.

as far as i know, you are the 3rd known female member of DH, first being hardware reviewer and site mod Grace and YoYoTech staff Catwoman

anyways, to get help for your laptop, you may want to post a new thread in the Hardware Discussion and Support forum or Laptop and Notebook General and Technical Forum.

simply give information about the problem.... if any and your laptop model and specs of possible

also the OS currently installed.

just to keep the forums organized.... happy posting!
