You know today while I was listening to some good trance I got so into it that I actually started perceiving "people" jumping around in the misty image of the leaves of the tree that was being blown outside through the blind, it felt weird coz I thought to myself "this must be what it feels like to be high and all" I was so into the music I didn't care just kept bobbing my head and "perceiving" these things, after the track was over the tree looked normal as hell, keep in mind this has -never- happened to me before. I think there could be a wavelength of the brain if you trigger you could actually see these "crazy" things, people always say there's a thin line between genius and insanity and it couldn't be more true when you take things such as this into account, Einstein once said two things are infinite, human stupidity and human ingenuity.

good golley miss molley, are you sure you were intoxicated by trance or something else, sounds like glucose euphoria mate.
My second wife and I listened to Trance and Chill often enough, but the repitative beat was a bit unnerving, and reminded me of those chaps repeating mantra's etc.

Mantras??? I don't know about trance music sounding like mantras but it might have been glucose induced euphoria indeed, had eaten some weird candy I had never had before and some pickled chilies and some olives and some yogurt and some vanilla flavored ice cream with real vanilla, add to that a hearty meal made of italian salad, potatoes and friend chicken and you've got one hell of a mix, not to mention one glass of apple juice and one can of limited edition coke, all in rapid succession of one another. I assure you I wasn't on "anything" when "the happening" went down.

Edit: yes I've got to lose weight, I'm not exactly fat but I do have a pot belly, maybe plump would be a better description.

I have managed to lose over three stone just going to the gym and riding a mountain bike and of course eating right. After my Liz became ill last year and my abortive attempt at motorcycle riding I learned that my body is a temple and I have to take care of it. I have stopped spending money, focusing instead on what is important like my health, my family, personal inventory and rebuilding important bridges I burned long ago. That is why I am so against destroying the future for our children, war and a world that is consuming families and children for the sake of personal gratification.
If we do not master ourselves we will be mastered by ourselves and ultimately destroyed.
If we truly want to and have to take responsibility for our future then we must be concerned with how we mortgage it away in pitiful attempts at personal gain, power and the fleeting image of youth. Fossil fuels will be gone soon and the power we use and embrace and depend upon will be gone. Oh yeah...where was I...LOL
okay
I like going to websites that challenge my curiosity and promote life and living and the earth upon which we live. The Wacom site was found my accident when I loaded new drivers on my lappy because I have a little bamboo I am playing with.
Bamboo
if you like to mess around the Bamboo is a hoot. I have a device that allows me to hold the pen in my hand without too much trouble so I really enjoy it.
I think for about fifty or sixty pounds you might pick one up and try it.

At the time Green Astronauts by A Boy Called Joni I think, one of my all time favorites since the day I heard it.

@Jeff Nice, if you're into authoring like yourself I think that would be a sweet toy. Well, I'm only 22 so I don't really know what's up with what in this world but I am trying to find out/live at my best so that I may benefit mankind and in so doing further the advancement of my fellow man at the same time as I further my familiy's and mine.

I'm a bit young to be exactly "perfect" when it comes to things such as this but I agree with you that world is really messed up right about now, child trafficking, drugs, violence, my parents once said to me they don't blame me or any other youth for finding it hard to grow up these days coz there's a hell of a lot more land mines to be stepped on by us these days than in their days, but either way we've gotta live and try and win the situation against all the odds presenting themselves, I agree with you and salute you for being one of the few people who is trying to make this a better place for people as young as me and younger and also people coming to join us, when people make fun of Al Gore without even listening to his message first it saddens me and shows how much most people just don't care.

Edit: I think that falls into the category of progressive trance dj.

I agree with you about the world but I wont throw my three cents in on what lays in the future however (as if I know myself).
I work with the military teaching people to use software to document medical history, medical science, creating and managing data. So many kids I have trained before I switched jobs have been killed or maimed since 2001 just serving their country and they return home with no medical database in which to calculate their compensation so to speak. My job is to teach people what to look for and how to document it so no stone is left unturned. At present so many folks are returning home with drug, domestic and emotional problems and the war and the peace is costing them so much now. These are kids that volunteered to work for the government and were maimed or scarred and need help. I want the government to see how much its costing the U.S. in terms of the effect it is having on your maturing youth.
I am experimenting with some pointing devices for service men and women to use and their providers as well to document healthcare etc.
We use Nuance and Wacom products in a effort to bridge the gap between the health care providers and patients while they are in hosptial and when they are discharged to an uncertain future.
Its not just missing limbs or brain injury, its the toll it has taken on young minds and the destruction of the only value system that service poeple had. I just want to give back something.
I wish we had an interactive web site funded by the DOD that cant be corrupted where service people can find out all their benefits, and recieve care when they get out. My next challenge is teaching VA providers how to use the software so they can care for the injuured men and women when they enter the world again minus the uniform.
It isnt much, but our technology and science offers more than just a gaming platform, and something to fiddle with when we should be with our girlfriends or family. I want the computer to become ubiquitous to the users in and outside the hosptial as a health resource. Right now it is a terrible dinosaur that screams for wireless technology and voice activated software, and interfaces for everyone that served and needs help. Because lets face it, there are enough people that give a damn anymore or that can touch everyone that requires benefits. Strangely enough, its the computer that just sits and blinks occasionally waiting for us that will be one of the most important tools in our inventory and I give providers and patients the skills to make the most of that.
I wish I could work with Apple and make small computer interfaces for wheelchairs, beds and homes etc that service men and women can use to create and document the necessary components of certain questionairs and examinations that require utmost privacy and away from the curtained exam rooms and noisy halls of hosptials...but that is a long way away.

Man your job must be really hard..hospitals are not one of my favorite places to be and I double salute for your work and what you are doing to aid humanity. Regarding the future I personally have always thought that life goes in cycles, you know, something comes into fashion, being, trend and then after a while, it goes out of fashion, being, trend all over again, eras and history repeat themselves all the time with the only thing truly changing and sometimes accelerating how quickly the cycles will run are the people that are involved, time and level of advancement of that age/era or point in time. So I think we just might have a future ahead of us even if it looks so bleak, things have looked bleaker or just as bleak before and sometimes if you don't get bleary eyed you never wipe your eyes.

As for planet x we can just blow it up when it comes round I hope.
