Got my CX300's
Well my Sennheiser CX300 headphones arrived in the post today, i'm really pleased with them. Had a bit of a play around and so far the large buds seem to be the ones that are most comfortable. They're also surprisingly comfy in the ear, pushing them RIGHT IN is a bit weird at first lol, but they sound fantastic as soon as the seal's tight in the ear. Now to annoy mum with these at high volume when she wants my attention lol

Sennheiser's are cool. I use Shure E3C's with me iPod. They sound crazy & there is absolutely no distortion as long as the orginal source is decent quality. Bass is crap on em though.

lol i heard that about those Shure 'phones, for the price it sounds ridiculous there's no bass. I'm lovin' these CX300's so far, they sound fantastic Lovin the ambient sound exclusion as well. Mum's already been yelling at me because i've had em in at night lol

Well the other buds were really hurting my left ear from the constant insertion and removal (which sounds bloody wrong lol) so i decided to give the small ones a try, turns out these are the best ones. They fit really well and stay in my ears, and they don't hurt my left ear

i'd love a pair of either the shure or etymotic IEMs, but atm i just use over-the-head cans, sennheiser hd-25, or (when they're working) sony mdr-v6

I can't wear those in the ear things.
think my lugholes are too small or something, they just hurt me.
I still get the ocassional odd look when I wear my retro edition px100's in public, can see people thinking "did he keep those over from the 80's ?"

The ones with decent bass were over £100 which I didn't want to spend. Think they were the E4C's.

I used the CX300 for a looong time, great in-ears for the price. I loved that they stayed untangled even when you would wrap it around your mp3 player. I recently upgraded to Denon AH-700, which are great and also have no problem staying untangled.

Used Jensen Jaxx in ear earphones, black, in blue they just look gay, which were really bloody good for the price for quite a while but then gave them to my brother, who abused his pair I think, and thinking of getting Shure E3Cs next, had Philips bud earphones before the Jaxx's but I messed them up I think then bought TDKs which were absolute crap and extremely cheap,I should've have known they would be from the price but I think Shure E3Cs wil suit my ears just fine hopefully.

I've heard a few bad things about the ear buds that come with those, because they rely 100% on a perfect fit in your ear an alarming amount of people on amazon said they had to go get some buds custom made for their ears.

Man, I'd rather just buy new ear buds. So far I haven't had any problems with ear buds, my brother bought a new pair of griffin ear thumps the other day and he says he wants to go back to using the jensens coz they hurt his left ear and don't fit and all, actually I think he wants to just buy head phones coz he's not feeling the in ear thing apparently. A couple of people find they can't adjust to in ear buds it seems.
