So far it's a fast and rough game with Canada leading 3-1 in the first period. Russia scored on there first shot on goal to start the game which was scary but we rebounded well so far.

Go Canada Go !!!!!!

Congrats to Team Russia for a hard fought win but they deserved it. As soon as Nash flipped the puck over the glass I knew it was over. Too much skill to have a 4 on 3 power play with Russia

They went with all four forwards too, which was quite a surprise from a russian team. An entertaining game though I missed most of it. Team Canada became a bit passive in the defense while trying to hold on to the lead. That and Nabokov being the best goalie in the tournament turned the scale for russia. It's strange how a player like Kovalchuk can play so uninterestedly for most of a game and then score two goals for the win. I'd have benched him for being lazy.
