HawgsHead
Just to let you folks know I just received an e-mail from his wife (sent out an e-mail to a list of people) that he passed suddenly on the 25th of February. I didn't ask for the cause because I didn't want to pry (really didn't know him on a personal level just on-line).

That's very sad news. AFAIK he was a very nice guy. I thought about him for not seeing here anymore, but this...no.
He will be missed. I feel sorry for his loved ones.

That is very sad, I feel terrible for his family.
He was a compliment to our community on DH, and I for one am going to miss having him around.

I've sent an email to his family giving sympathies on behalf of the DH community.
He'd been around here for quite some time. In fact, he joined just 14 days after I did, I remember being in aww of his machine.
He'll be greatly missed.

this is just a little something i have just remembered..
Hawgs not only was a good member but was also quite generous also..Last Year he sent me a copy of Diskeeper Pro (Latest @ the time)..Although he had the disk for free,he paid for P&P from the usa to the uk.
All just for offering a little tip or two on games where he was stuck...on this forum here.A very good way of saying thankyou..
For myself this shown he was appreciative and a man who lived by his word (no matter how small)
Through the communication via PM he always seemed a decent person. He will not be forgotten..

You know, that reminds me, he sent me a copy of a rally racing game a year or so ago. Same story, just asked if anyone wanted a copy and mailed it out, no questions asked.
That sort of generosity is rare. He didn't have to do it, but he did anyway. It shows character, in my opinion.
@ Mike, I sent the email to the addressed used to register at DH. If someone (Necrosis, maybe) has his main address, I'd appreciate it if you could PM it to me. I'd like to make sure his family gets our message. Thanks

I had his address, I was one of those that received free game from him and sent him a small statue as thank you, but I don't have his address anymore. If anyone could organise to send something, flowers or whatever, I could help a bit (paypal).

I found his address. If there is interest in getting a floral basket sent to his family, I can manage it. Let me know.
