Video Game Music

My buddy found this website. They do remixes (a lot of them are techno-ish, but they have some rock and jazz, too) of video game music. A lot of them are absolutely astonishing. If you like feeling nostalgic, and like video game music, you've gotta check it out.

You guys HAVE to check these tracks out, at the very least. They will blow you away.

Megaman 3 - "MegaMan 2003" (Title Track)
Sonic the Hedgehog - "Love Hurts" (Remake of Marble Zone*)
Wolfenstein 3D - "Nazi Requiem"

--

* Incidentally, the music from Marble Zone is one of my favorite pieces of music. Ever.

Great find, though I've been leeching music from them for a while. There are some extremely talented remixers at that place (http://remix.overclocked.org/). "Cid in the Factory" by Gaffeizil is an excellent example of the use of many different industrial factory type sounds to make a remix you will recognize if you've played Final Fantasy 3 (6 in Japan).

Lovely music place.

Edit: Kinda forgot something: this is one the top remixes on the site. Give it a listen!

THIS is my favorite "remix" video game tune of all time! It's a Nintendo PacMan (techno remix). I don't have a clue who made it, it came with a pinball table that I D/L'd a long time ago for Visual Pinball. Can you guess what table recreation it was? (hint: WAKA WAKA)

The one in my link is an extremely compressed WMA version of the original MP3, it's about 1meg. The original one is a 128 MP3 at about 3.75megs. Check it out, it's pretty cool...at least I thought it was.

That's a great site BTW, I'm gonna have to do some serious surfing there.

EDIT: If you like it, just PM me and I'll EM the MP3 version to you, no sweat. Just don't forget to give your E-mail address in the PM. (don't worry, I'll keep it confidential and only use it for the purpose of EM'ing you the file)
