yeah...among other productions he starred in..
I still remember Roar...the 13 episode series he starred in...
he wasnt that great, certainly not a Russel Crowe or Mel Gibson etc.
I never saw Broke Back Cowboy so his image isnt tarnshed as far as I am concerned.

It's quite sad. They guy had a lot going for him; great career, 2 year old daughter, etc. and all for not. I was looking forward to seeing him in The Dark Knight, and I hear he did really great work with it.

Why man? I think he was actually quite good at what he did which is quite rare these days. You say good riddance because he might have done drugs? That's not right imho. The man was entertaining and for that I thank him and hope he finds what we are all looking for.
RIP

he was just a bloody thespian...but not worthy of damnation...
Blue, I think on balance he was just like anybody else with problems or issues he couldnt handle, pity is wasted but you must be empathetic you know...
or not..
your choice.

Inconclusive autopsy means it could have been an accident. You've got to be a petty person to have that kind of attitude.

I think Ledger could have been the next Mel Gibson. Granted, he's no De Niro or Pacino but the guy had what it takes to be a great actor and I think Dark Knight will prove that. Just the fact that he could go from convincingly playing a gay cowboy to a legendary comic book villain is extraordinary.
First saw him in 2000 in the movie "Two Hands" and I could tell he'd be a huge star it's quite sad that the world will be deprived of another great actor so soon

Ok everyone, I'd like you to ignore BlueMak. The original comment has been deleted, as it was an obvious attempt to start a flame war (which it apparently did). He has been warned, again.
Anyone else posts something like a flame in retaliation, I will have to deal with it. PLease get back on topic. Thank you.

A Knights Tale, The Brother's Grime, and the upcoming The Dark Knight.
All good movies, that's too bad.

I haven't tried to start a flame war.
While what I said obviously offended some people, I stand by my view of not feeling sorry for what happened to him. In 10 days there will be an official result of the autopsy, so lets wait for that.
I had nothing against the person or the actor. But, I do have against rich people abusing their status and money to get "recreational" drugs and also getting away with it because of their status. Millions of people get on with their lives, with their jobs that they don't like, bad relationships and all that make life what it is, without using drugs. I fail to see why I should feel sorry for someone like Heath. I do feel very sorry for those that knew and loved him and lost him.

Rich, good looking, powerful, piety...none of that matters when drugs are involved, they are the great equalizer.
As far as I know, Ledger wasn't one of those addict stars like Winehouse or Britney so I think it was accidental and a tragedy.

From the most recent stuff on TV, it appears two medications he was taking interacted poorly with each other, or something else, and caused his death. Further tests are being done to figure it out.
The NYC police have stated that original reports that there was drug paraphernalia and pills scattered throughout his apartment were false. Sad either way, I feel terrible for his young daughter.

I really don't know how you can be so heartless Blue, that comment was seriously pushing things.
And Original Reports about drug paraphenalia? wtf?
Was someone in the police force trying to send this guy out in a bad light? If there wasn't any drug usage or equipment for it why was it reported?
Fucking weird.

It's more propable that there is a cover up than to try to send this guy out in a bad light...
Still, let's wait for the report.
I am not heartless. If he died from drugs one way or another, it is not me who takes drugs that can at any point kill you, overdose, heart failure etc, and leave a small child without a father.

Well wouldn't a guy with a child be responsible?
I seriously doubt that if he had a daughter he loved very much, and a very young one at that he'd be stupid enough to do drugs.
If you ask me it's a doctor that's screwed up if the medication was prescribed.

Personaly i think its a doctor coverup.
i think 2 types of prescribed drugs where involved, and didnt mix correctly with his body and something happened.

Your probably right, either that or he made the mistake of drinking while taking the meds. I doubt there is a "cover-up", though.

However it happened its a shame that someone so young with so much to look forward to in life isn't going to get to see his daughter grow up.

As we in Europe are a little late with all new things about his tragic death, I'm really curious what actually caused his death.
And i just have to say something to BlueMak, I fail to see why a rumor about him dieing about drugs, you take as a fact. And because of this rumor you find his death justified... At least wait with your judgement till the actual cause of death is established.

As I said before, I strongly believe he died from drugs, one way or another.
You don't have to agree with me, you can just dismiss what I say on it.
First reports of drugs found on the scene, even some "eye" witnesses, the one day at a time everyone either forgets or changes what they said earlier. Combined with the calls to the owner of the apartment, it stinks cover up.
