IIRC in theory it is "artillery", anti tank artillery units.

Not. It's anti tank missile. Artillery uses grenades....

Yes and those uses ballistic trajectory. Now that anti-tank missile uses direct. That is the real difference.

Not all anti tank missiles use direct trajectory. Some of them go over the tank. Almost like submunitions from certain type of SP-artillery.
Besides, what does that prove either way?
