Meet the Spartans
I couldn't find any info on IMDb on this comedy. Meet the Spartans is out...when?
Watch the trailer if you can, I like it.

If I'm ever in a serious accident and lose 80% of my brain function that will be the first movie I want to see.

Thankfully, it's not a real movie just a spoof trailer. At least, I hope so!

Did anyone see this movie?
If you did I think you deserve negative rep for encouraging the movie industry to keep on making shitty movies! The terrorists should just nuke us all before we turn into Idiocracy... there's just no excusing this movie being #1 at the Box Office.

I saw the trailer and the first thing in my mind is "Give me a break". I said the same thing that one of my friend just went to see it. He is now not my friend *sarcastic*

Cloverfield was good and there's so many good movies out that there's no excuse to see Meet the Spartans.

how wasn't cloverfield a horrible movie?
they just took blair witch (top rated load of crap ever) and slapped godzilla together with it, and then decided it would be a great idea if they threw in some pretty damn stupid "adults"....
I've yet to meet anyone that hasn't walked out of the theater on that movie OR stopped downloading it.
Sometimes theres a chance that it may get better at the end, but it didn't.... it just got more and more irritating.
I'd rather watch some stirred up combination of teletubbies + UFC.....
Either way, the lack of decent movies is enourmous...... it's usually 1 movie out of about 3-4 months worth of new ones......
with the exception of usually around may-july.....

No one left the theatre when I saw it and they must be psychic if they stopped watching it while it was still downloading Unless of course you mean some crappy stream, this movie isn't intended to be watched from a guys cell phone cam.
I thought this has been a great time for movies. The two best movies of the year came out recently (No Country for Old Men and There Will be Blood) plus you've got Sweeney Todd, Juno, Atonement (haven't seen but heard it's good) and even Rambo. I dunno, maybe most people aren't old enough to get into the R rated flicks so they go see crap like Meet the Spartans.

you can't make a valid judgement on any movies you haven't seen .... you can make valid opinion, but a realistic judgement.. no..
Have you seen meet the spartans......
and going by movie reviews is rediculious..
I saw cloverfield in the movie theater, i withstood the torture of that horrible movie the whole way through... It's still a load of crap... If it had some kind of stupid homour thrown in, it would have been more appropriate... Or even smart humor.. i don't know, it was pretty horrible as it stands now.

I found the blair witch project the most boring film in years, but I did like godzilla. Now I am very curious if I will like Cloverfield. lol

thing is... the movie doesn't focus on godzilla at all... it just throws the concept of it being around as a way to make the story seem at least partially watchable..
it all focuses on the idiots running around with the camera...

I'm also a fan of the Godzilla series and that's why I liked Cloverfield. The Blair Witch aspect is annoying but it does put you more in the movie that way.

Yet months ago I said it would suck based on a trailer and I'm still saying it sucks...no one is disputing that so it must not be ridiculous. I use movie reviews as the basis for all my movie watching that way it counters the hype machine the studios often employ for their big shitty movies (like AvP2, Spiderman3). Just find some critics who have similar tastes as yours and use them as a guide.

i refuse to use a critics..... i will judge on my own... as my preferences and dislikes/likes have no set standard that anyone can follow...
Hell just for good cause, i can't and don't rely all that much on even Driverheaven's own reviews... i simply can't.... i will make my own judgement.... i'll will learn and figure it out for myself... I only look at some of the reviews for my own personal interest or for a business prospective to see if there is additional information that would help me in a specific situation. That's not even entertainment...
Entertainment, it's not for someone else to tell you what it was like, it's for you to get involved and experience for yourself.
