Losing my gut :/
When i broke my wrist, it was too damned painful to excercise while i had my arm in the cast and i went without excercise for about 4 weeks and i've put on a fair bit of weight i could really be doing without .
I know i'm only 15 but i've been working really hard to try lose the weight i've put on. Last night i spent about 3/4 hours doing some fairly intense PK Training, lots of running and climbing involved.
Strangely enough though, my weight doesn't noticeably hinder me, i can monkey vault onto chest height stuff with surprising ease (look for these manouvers on youtube, you'll see what i mean) and i managed a very ungracious climb up from a cat leap for the first time.
Is there anything else i can do that will help me lose this gut? I don't know how much weight i put on, but put it this way: 4 weeks sat on my arse not being able to excercise eating too much sugar

I got word from a good mate of mine who's been doing pk for maybe 2 years now i think. He's told me that out of all the pk he;s done during his time, tricking was really good for slimming down and bulking up.
I guess i'll give tricking a go if PK Doesn't make a lot of difference in maybe a few months

1)What is PK? Pakistan?
2) When you say 3/4 hours is that three quarters of an hour or 3 to 4 hours?

Hey Mousey, maybe you should link an answer to this in your sig or something, you seem to have someone asking every time you mention it.

Can't you just get on an exercise bike or elliptical machine for an hour a day? Assuming you haven't much weight to lose and are eating properly you'd lose the gut pretty quickly.

That wouldn't help, some people have the sigs disabled. It would be better to provide a link to wikipedia every time
And like OmegaRED, I would suggest running or biking too.

either start playing lots of badminton (gets you really fit, trust me), or get a physically demanding job. I got fitter than I've ever been just working my ass off 6 days a week a few years back.
or , just sit back, relax, and hope to hell that it's just puppy fat that will naturaly disappear

His arm is in a cast so it sounds like he can only do exercises which don't require upper body movement or gripping.

Eat about 1000 calories per 24h. Burn as much as you can in activities. You will lose weight.
Try an excercise bike.

Free running or Parkour sounds more fun man! Running about like a monkey, flipping about all over the place like the baddie from Die Hard 4!! Anyone seen a movie called District 13? Some crazy moves in that movie.

Abs are made in the kitchen not in the Gym
Consume less calories than you use. Simple. Since you are 15 I doubt you are cooking all the meals yourself. But try to eat very little fried food. Some things I would suggest to eat are a lot of broiled/grilled chicken breast and green raw vegetables. Avoid sugars (including juices) if at all possible.

No one should eat less than 1500 calories per day, that's very unhealthy especially for a 15 year old. It's much better to exercise more than eat less.

I didn't know he was 15yo.
I eat ~1200 per day, I am fine, but I am double his age.

In general, a woman should consume 1500 calories and a man 1800 per day. I suppose you can get away with 1200 if you're sedentary but for a kid like Mousey bouncing off walls and generally being a human ping pong ball he should eat a better diet, his exercise will take care of the rest.

Rofl, i don't bounce off walls, i climb up them
I got back from a pretty intense day's training today with some mates right up in the country, bout 10 miles walk there and back so i can imagine i burned a fair few calories doing that
Tomorrow if i'm not all stiff and sore i'll be out there training for sure
