Be sure to run all of these:
Spybot Search & Destroy then SUPER AntiSpyware, and if you think you are seriously messed up you can also run something called SDFix (download from HERE, run the RunThis.bat file, and within the menu you will see a listing to download the latest version.. do so, then at the end it will ask you to extract it somehwere... usually C drive). Then reboot the machine into safemode, under the same user name you will be logging into Windows with when it reboots (cuz when it does so it finalizes some changes, and it has to be under that same name), and run the RunThis.bat file again. Let it do it's thing, reboot into Windows when asked, let it finish up, then reboot into safemode and run it again to be safe.
BTW, SDFix scans for problems using scripts that use other programs like Combofix, HiJack This, and so fourth, but you should be aware that it also resets common settings, some services, and even reset some programs like Windows Firewall, as well you will need to redo any network tweaks you may have used before.
I always find that if SUPER AntiSpyware and SDFix doesn't fix it then you may as well give up, and reinstall.

had a similiar problem once not so long ago, someone had tunneled into my laptop and was using it while it was connected. Spybot identified the problem, I wiped and restored my original setup, and I use Mcafee now. I havent had any problems since.
