Sudden Flood of Activity at my site?
Ok here's the deal, at my site (i won't link, pm me for link) we've had about 489 members join in the year we've been up, and only 2 of them post... (we're SO pissed at that) and just today, we normally have google accessing the calendar every day, it's been doing that for about 6 months now (mebbe someone's died at their keyboard?
 ) and just today we had over 200 guests suddenly logon to the board and gradually leave over about 20 minutes.Our members have made a total of 879 posts We have 489 registered members The newest member is GhostPhase310 Most users ever online was 221 on Today, 03:47 PM i reckon we've been bombed by bots, anyone have any idea what's happened? |

I seriously doubt we had 211 people click on a link at pretty much exactly the same time, that's why i reckon it's bots that did it.
Over the course of about 15/20 minutes they gradually left, again, i think bots. |
