={DH}= Game Server Meet-Up!

Well that went well.....
...NOT!!!!
The server maxed out with 6 ppl and that was it. No-one seems interested, i guess it just doesnt have enough people interested to warrant a DH Clan

Just as before, same old faces, and Naumo_Jr!!!

Good to see the staff getting involved

As shuki said, best to leave the server public and i suggest having an automated script running advertising DH.
It was a popular server when it was public and i believe it will be a good way of attracting more members to the driverheaven site

Yeah it was empty when I got home too. So yeah thats pretty crappy... But we must remember some have to be up for work I guess. If my fav CS server cleared out that early it'd be sad.

looks like MOHAA isnt popular enough with the members, if I put CS on it, it would be full constantly......

doubt it... could be wrong but seriuosly doubt it. might be full of public visitiors (but so it has been with MOHAA too) but wont be full of DH people.

We had 6 of them out last night. Highwayman was oot and said he could not make it this time. Dunno what happened with craig588, DarkAngel93 and Zulan?? maybe a bad day for them (Sunday) or maybe a bad time, maybe they were intimidated

or maybe they just *gasp* forgot...... Either way, I thought it went fine for the initial launch and I had fun! It was great to get killed by my own DH family

But seriously, next time it should be us six against any other public people that should happen to wander in and not close out the server to PW people only.

but Z, where were you? you get busy or tied up? just missed ya thats all....

I was in earlier during the day but I was busy later.

With regards to some people not appearing, that is something that will always happen, not everyone will make it at a certain time. but if 6-10 people make a core team and at least 6 show up on the planned nights and you get the public in. a good game could be had.

ill be monitoring it over the next few months and chatting with craig to see how it goes.

im absolutley *rap at objective ... last night was the first time i ever played it ... im much more used to free for all ie i watch my own back

just ask Naumo_JR he spawned right behind me in the V2 map i spun round and shot him out of instinct ... thats my excuse anyway

.... i reckon i need a lot , more practise on objective mode

but teamwork is really what makes a clan and really makes for an entirely new game! I mean working together to go in and take care of business while watching each others back (not shooting each others back

) is an entirely different gaming experience and level than just running around shooting anything that moves..... I really see a LOT of potential for some good teamwork but IMO, the first step is we all need to get hooked up with gamevoice....

don't get me wrong shuki i did enjoy the wee change ... it just felt odd .... next time i should do better .... i hope ....

another funny bit was in the V2 one as well you opened up on me ... and i couldn't see where you were firing from as i was looking up at the time and i couldn't see anything for the glare

you gotta love that sun!! plus I didn't know if you were new to the whole MOHAA thing or not and didn't know if you knew the compass showed the hit shots... either way, I'm glad you at least showed up to have a bit of fun

Well on the gamevoice topic, it was always the plan to have voice link up, and I would like to get it started, me and Shuki have jus' trialed GameVoice on the server and it worked v. well, after a few teething problems

We managed to whip the pants of two unsuspecting players stupid enough to challege us, the benefits of voice is twofold, and once a client has been decided upon I'll be sure to get everyone possible linked up and chatting away. I'll leave you with this sound piece of advise "He's behind the rock again!"

i would love a skin of the waffen ss combat smock ie "pea pattern" 1943 era, the current uniforms of the axis forces are ok , they could be improved upon by supplying also Italian uniform skin or even Japaneese skin

I would love a BHD server, but for the time being it's MOH, and not a lot of ppl will have BHD, well not as many as have say UT etc. All possibilites will be looked into in the future tho.

The words Own + Team + Kinetic are occuring ever so much these days haha

EDIT: They were indeed some excellent matches, little did NME kno most of us were using voiced links and co-ordinating our onslaught with precision and decadance, well that was the intention anyway.
