Question about Car Security Alarms.

I was thinking about getting one for my car and came across a couple questions. I was looking at the Rattler 300 because it's relativly cheap and powerful. Would this be a good choice? Also how hard would it be to install something like this myself? Anyone ever attempt this or have any links on installing security systems? Thanks!

i personaly use "sidewinder" because its nice, has an auto start feature that if u hit a button it'll start up and warm up or cool off and if u dont put the key in the ignition b4 15 mins it shuts off and it doesnt unlock your doors or anything when u auto-start. its not an easy establishment no matter what alarm it is so i'd look into having it professionaly done, also it has a sensitivity adjustment for EXREME sensitivity or it will just go off when your door is opened of broken into also features lock and unlock button and u can also program it to put your windows down when u unlock and put them up when u lock it
