Tornadoes Touch Down in Central Florida...

Very, very severe storms touched down during the night while people were sleeping. Several communities have reported extensive damage and others may be completely gone.

Estimates state that some tornadoes may have been Category F2.

Even at this hour there is still the potential for more.

Images coming across the TV show widespread damage and Interstate 4 has been shutdown due to several large truck accidents.

I lived in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Area for many years. Even lived in Orlando for a year. I'm familiar with just about any area of Florida as I traveled it extensively. I still have family and many friends in the Central part of this state. Some of my family from Indiana go down to the Lake Wales area for winter.

So, I'm anxious to hear from any of them.
