Old Man's Child
A pretty awesome band for any of you who like the way dimmu borgir sounds but without the crappy vocals.
They are like like dimmu borgir with arch enemy vocals, only darker.
Also one thing this band has that a lot of others don't is a singer thats not trying to take all the glory. There are countless songs I have listened to where it has perfect instrumentals but shitty vocals ruin the entire song and not only is it usually crappy singing, it feels like a competition between singer and the rest of the band to see who gets the glory.
They are considered Black Metal but aren't crappy like Black Metal. Well I shouldn't say that (though I already did) but the vocals are clean and developed. I absolutely hate Dimmu Borgir mostly because the vocals ruin it (sounds like an underwater vagina). Also I'm pretty sure one of the guitarists from the band is from Dimmu Borgir.
Anyways, they are definately worth a look and a listen if you like dark and heavy metal but are tired with the genre's of black and death metal being over-run by shitty vocalists.
Bought Vermin today and I'll probably buy In Defiance of Existance.
Edit: Also picked up Wages of Sin, Anthems of Rebellion, and Comfort Eagle
