Uses for old Xbox (s).
Now that the xbox 360 is out what is everyone doing with their old xbox(s). My xbox has been running XBMC (xbox media center) for a couples years thanks to the a software mod. I know that various flavors of Linux run on the xbox. Someone could collect old xboxes and build a cheap computing grid. What are your plans for your old xbox?

I use XBMC on mine. thats what I've always done with it. Its been my media center for ages.
too bad it chokes on HD content...sometimes it does alright but some HD content is just way beyond it.

I'll probably take mine out to the desert once the 360's price goes down.

From mosix.com
MOSIX is a super operating system for Linux clusters and organizational Grids, that provides system-wide services and a Single-System Image (SSI).
In a MOSIX Grid/Cluster there is no need to modify or link applications with any library, copy files or login to remote nodes, or even assign processes to different nodes - it is all done automatically. Just fork and forget, like in an SMP. MOSIX supports dynamic configurations, ranging from partitioning of a cluster among several users to a virtual organizational Grid with several clusters, like our campus Grid.

mosix is a distributed operating system.
It works under the same theory as Folding@Home, but instead of being an app, it's the OS

Don't know if this is illegal but anyways, heh.
Got somebody modded my xbox and put bunch of stuff in the hard drive. Now I have windows media, Nintendo (include nes, and snes) and Genesis games. Mostly it;s hard to find nes and snes game nowday, so I thought it would be okay.
