Legendary Singer, James Brown, dies at 73

Taken to the hospital on Sunday afternoon with symptoms of pneumonia, he died early Monday (Christmas) morning right here in Atlanta, GA.

I watched him once live, in 2000 I think, his show kinda sucked. Still, the mas was a legend. I also thought he was much older than just 73.

I didn't like his music but he was one of my favorite celebrities.
He just didn't give a s__t! I love it. He had one hell of a life and will be missed. All these celebrity drones that are all about the buck and there image can take some pointers from him. It's like there all being molded in the same factory. There are some actors and singers that I get mixed up because I cant tell them apart.

im not a huge fan of his music to be honest,only one or two tracks from his style i liked....

But a great legend none the less.. RIP.

wow, he was scheduled to come to BC for a concert this year (in vancouver I think). Sad news.

I heard something about his wife going home from the hospital after he passed & the whole place was locked up & she couldn't get it... It's all about the money. He was a legend though & will be missed. RIP.

Very sad. He was a true great, probably top 5 most influencial artist of all time. Personally I'm a huge fan, I'll miss him.
