Anyone watching the scifi show "Heroes"?

i was watching and just enjoying it until episode 5 ( at the end on the train with hiro and the sword) and then i really started to enjoy it tis indeed a crackin' show..... its like a lighter version of the 4400 .... cheerleaders a bit chubby though

I've only seen the first 2 episodes and it was pretty good but seemed really cheezy but from what I hear, its gotten better after those episodes.

I found some parts of scrubs funny but I couldn't get into it. I need witty humor not o no I hit my head on something or messed up somehow thats normally very easy. I dunno, maybe I saw a bad episode. It was the one where they had the toilet on the roof, man that was a horrible episode.

yeah its dumb, but its only 20 minutes and I get a chuckle from it. I don't really think you like very much lol so yeah might be hard for you to get into anything

You might like "curb your enthusiasm", thats really sharp.

I like scrubs but it feels like its just a sad shadow of some of the previous comedies I've seen. God Coupling and Spaced are probably my favorite comedies. And the american Office is wonderful. Oh yea and Arrested Development...cept the 3rd season started to get too obsurd.

Anyway I watched a few episodes of heroes but it just comes off as feeling like a kinda cheap knockoff of X-men. I dunno...it really feels like they're just rehashing things from my childhood. It might very well be a great show (and probably is due to its ripoff of x-men) but I just can't get into it for that reason.

When I saw Heroes first episode I thought it was one of the most poorly written pilots filled with exposition and bad acting but they've really turned the show around in under 10 episodes I'd say if I had a choice between it or LOST I'd watch Heroes. Though I can't stand the Indian guy and his lame voice overs (save it for Desperate Housewives!) the other characters are surprisingly interesting.

I been watching for ever

but it's on NBC at Mondays at 9pm I'd DVR the show because I watch WWE at 9pm also

Its also repeated on Fridays just before BSG on SciFi -- (BSG has gotten a bit lame recently tho was great in 1st season ... eh - we'll see what happens I guess)

edit: - Doh - Heros is a pretty good show - but I just know it'll get canceled in the middle of the plot and leave me hanging - and I just hate that about 'serialized' shows.... And there so many now too... hmmm - makes me think were being prodded like cattle into 'pay per view' ... like vanished got canceled but is on myspace now to complete the season/series (prolly depending on how much $$$ they make from ads shown there...??)

BSG hasn't gotten so much lame as taking an entirely different direction. Sadly I think they're trying to tie up some loose ends that didn't need tying up.

I still have faith. The second season was actually pretty good. Its just now that they're phasing Baltar out, it feels like the show is going downhill. That schitzo was my favorite character.

Last night REALLY made me sick - it was ALL about 'relationships' - pfff.... wheres the 'sci-fi' there???

It looking like it might as well be called - 'All our children - in space'....

Yeah - Baltar was what made it so interesting -

Another crap episode like last night will lose me I fear....

I think the dead people looking fake is on purpose to get an early time slot - and kinda fits with the cartoon/comic book theme through out the plot too...

Nikki, she doesn't bug me as much as hiro's voice - soooo squeeky... I'm glad hes getting a grip on English, and the train scene with 'future Hiro' is 'the light at the end of the tunnel' on that point - so I'll deal with it....

I used to like smallville, about 3 seasons ago. I still watch it with the vague glimmer of hope that lana gets horribly butchered for the whole 40 minutes. It is one of the most annoying sci fi shows now because it is mind numbingly dumb.

It appears most of the episodes are on popular un-named for legal reasons) video sites.

I completely ignore the whole lana thing. It's been the last 3-4 episodes that have actually been quite excellent as they are following along the lines of actually Clark going out and saving people, where as before it seemed to always be a bloody long about way of dealing with lana or messing up something with lana....

Wished they'd get rid of all the korny shit.

I really dont get smallville, I tried watching it a few times now and every time I give up, because it feels like just another teen drama show with nothing new to it.

90210 with a superhero or well that might be pushing it, but to much teen drama for me

Dude, the show sucks now. He STILL can't fly and its been like 6 years since the show started and his intelligence borders on garden slug level. Series 2 and 3 were the last interesting series, it needs put to death. Superman in this show is lame, and this whole green archer business, i mean, its not even entertaining. Its like a teenage girl soap opera now, relationships between lex and lana, clark and lana. the annoying Lois Lane and the "green archer" relationship - lets have some really good fights, and some powerful bad guys instead of the "omg xx teenage kid ate a bit of meteror rock and now he can magically fart really loud and blow up buildings with his awesome ass power" - we all know it will take clark 30 minutes to work out whats going on (or should I say when chloe works it out for him - and god isn't she just soooooooo damn annoying as well), then once this is explained to him, he kicks the mutants ass in 5 minutes. Show over (after a 1 minute reflection from clark in his farmhouse on how his life sucks - ah get over it you whinging lil biatch). Then next week it continues on as if nothing happened. I am actually annoyed at myself every week for watching it, as when its over the first things out of my mouth after the sigh are either "What the f*&k" or "what a load of bollocks".

I really am keeping my fingers crossed that lana and lex have a mutant alien kid who injects a bit of life into the show, after devouring her slowly over a full 42 minutes on screen with state of the art visual effects from ILM.

Anything with the Godlike Bill Bailey in is an absolute must see. I'd heartily recommend his live shows. Surreal.

Ive watched every episode and I know its popular but i just think the show has so much potential and they are dwelling on relationships far too much. More bad guys, more CGI and more fights, less whinging and soul searching I say ! and for god sake guys get my name right its allAn
