What I thought of was a Koala in Denmark eating apples. Pretty close, but not quite. How did you fare?

I figured how this one works to an extent- regardless of what number you pick, you will get D as the letter you are supposed to pick. The only countries I can find beginning with D are Denmark, Djibouti, Dominica, and Dominican Republic. Of those, Denmark is the one most of us would pick, just because we're from a demographic that would be most familiar with Denmark. There are also relatively few animals who have a name starting in K, and of them Koala and Kangaroo seem to be the best known... and then there aren't many fruits that start with A or O except for Apple and Orange, and none with as much recognition. w00t! Reverse engineered the trick!

It's 4:30am though, so I KNOW there are flaws in my logic, anyone care to poke holes in em?

The tricky one is that first excercise - I can't figure out how the hell you get carrot... and I'm not buying Dallasstar's explaination

I'm pretty sure it's not 98% of the people who say "carrot". The stats are messed with.

About the explanation, I can't find a strong one... Being a common vegetable does not cut here, it's more than that... It may have to do something with the color. Dunno why I say that. Maybe there's a relation between those numbers and the way we perceive colors. What if a number or a set of numbers creates a link to a particular color? I have nothing to base this theory on, so far.
