Hey guys, I don't know if you guys remember what I was doing for a living about 8 months ago, but I was working part time at a convience store, and then about 7 hours a week at the local college as a teacher's aide for the A+ Certification course. I've sorta been MIA for a while, so I figured I'd give you an update.
I'm now working my second IT job, the first one was general IT and database management for Lakeshore-RV, but a few months ago I defected and started working for Fun-n-Sun RV. At FNSRV I'm more into data security, network management, and general IT. Recently I've been running out of stuff to work on, so on top of those other responsibilities they have me running their eBay store.
Also, after the spring and summer off, I'll be going back to work at the college at about 10 hours a week. My boss there believes that people with advanced PC repair skills should be paid more than the college's standard 6USD/hour for student employees, so he used to pay me a dollar an hour out of his own pocket. Well, he's still planning on doing that, but the college is raising their pay to 7USD/hour.
On top of all of that, I'm going to be taking fall classes.
As much as I'd love to just enjoy my income, I moved out on my own in July after living in my mom's old apartment for two months (she got married and I lived out her lease) It's a nice place with two stories, two and a half bathrooms, two bedrooms, a washer and dryer, full kitchen, balcony and patio. Also the complex has a pool, free movie rental service, business office (with cable internet and two computers) and a 24/7 weight room.
So even though I'm making more money than I ever have, I'm still barely eeking by. Oh well, life is good anyways
