To "Chuck Patch" or not to "Chuck Patch"

I'm laughing so hard I may not be typing just right. LOL!

Anyway, someone over at Tom's Hardware decided to benchmark the newest ATI 1950XTX and included the now-famous "Chuck Patch" drivers.

Regeneration has posted about this over at NGO forums and, the following link will take you directly to Tom's Hardware where the reviewer posted his results.

Here's what is funny: In Half-Life 2, which works just fine with HDR and AA together with the official drivers, they had big problems with HL-2 and the "Chuck Patch" drivers. So, they gave the benchmarks for it an 'Incomplete' due to all the "0"s generated due to the game not even starting.

You have to keep in mind that the "Chuck Patch" was developed ONLY for OBLIVION.
