three weeks ago I bought myself a macbook. I was happy as can be. It was perfect (okay well the software cost an arm and a leg but theres ways around that) and I was loving it. Great battery life, awesome sleep features (just open the lid and its back on! Windows machines take a bit to bring it back up) stuff like that. I adored my little macbook. AND it ran windows which meant I got gaming on the go.

ohhhhh but then...I'm at work finishing up some research. I'm pulling togeather a presentation to give to my team and then from there we would divide labour for the next month. BOOM! Computer shuts off. No crash report no nothing. just off.

I turn it on. BAM off again.

it continues to do this.

I call apple, they give suggestions, it seems to get better for a day or so. Unfortunately by now I had lost most of my data. It had corrupted my doccuments pretty badly.

...and now apple has it and they're debating whether its my fault or not. bastards.

DONT buy a macbook or a macbook pro (if you google this crashing problem you'll see that its happening alot) Wait until they get the kinks worked out. This is obsurd.

Sounds like when my girlfriend's ipod mini battery died a few months after buying it. That was "her" fault too.
