Congratulations to the Miami Heat
Well I was going to post about this earlier but didnt have a chance. I just wanted to congratulate the brilliant Miami heat for their win in the NBA finals over the Dallas Mavericks. Im a MASSIVE basketball fan and stayed up all last night (UK time) to watch this.
Miami are my team (I support whichever team big shaq is in ) - but I gotta say Dwayne Wade looks like he will be in the hall of fame in a few years time if he continues to improve like he has already !
For those who missed the finals, I saw most of the games (the ones that were shown, and those that werent in the UK I followed the live ticker tape and chat on www.nba.com) and they were brilliant. Was amazed to see the heat put out the pistons earlier too.
Roll on 2007 !

I played basketball all through school and was on a championship team our Sophomore year of H.S.
I'd likely still be following it but our Atlanta Hawks have stunk so bad for so long I don't even like to check the boxscores anymore. LOL!

Nooooooooooooo they won? I was cheering for the mavs just because I had a friend from Miami. They earned it though, came back after a 2 game loss.
Looking forward to Wimbledon, being a Tennis player myself you always learn something new just from watching.

I watched it, and congrats to them. They have a great team, and were my favorites in the final. I would've liked to see them go against Phoenix instead (since I love Steve Nash), but big Dirk is fun to watch as well.

"stunk so bad" is a dreadful understatement. you can't pay people to take hawk's tickets.

i used to play sports all the time as a little kid....now, i don't.
i like to watch them. especially baseball, because you can watch the first inning, take a nap, wake up in the middle of the 8th inning and not really miss anything
