right now, i'd like a 5.0 v8 thunderbird from 94-97. if not, then just about anything w/4 doors and a 5spd. tranny would do that puts out at least 150hp

well, apparently my insurance was only costing me $133/mo. on my 8 by the time i had crashed it, now i just wonder how much it'll change depending on the car i get and policy i get.

and i'm looking to get something used, somewhere in the range not to exceed 10k, and be no older than 10yrs. old. Maybe i can get me that 1996 528i bimmer i've been wanting

VTEC = variable [valve] timing [and lift] electronic control

VTEC works all the time, but you notice the difference beyond about 4.2 grand on the tach

BMW's are gunna run you up towards 30...no joke...even a heavily used one is in the low 20's or high teens unless its got hella lotta miles on it or is badly busted interior wise.

Accord, Civic, Taurus, Small trucks [S-10, Ranger, etc], and stuff liek that are gunan eb what you'll find in the under 10K crowd unless you find a sweet private deal

that was my 8, but since it was a MT, i could keep the rpms at 7k and launch from there, so i'd be launching w/nothing but HP

mazda's arent highest on quality charts, then again toyotas aren't the best performers who does top the charts.

the 3 series all together is an over-rated car. it sounds good handles really good, interior i want to CRY. it is not driver oriented, its cutting corners thats what. the 5 series is a different story but what lexus offers in that range still rocks.

why wont your insurance get you a brand new 8, and i cant belive u paid only 128 per month on insurance. here we would pay maybe 400 on something like that!

and the azera is boring i sat in it at the autoshow, but the ford fusion and 500 made me cry. i did enjoy my time in the CLS 55 AMG though!

when i first got my 8, i was paying $300/mo on insurance (what i was paying for my truck payment way back when). a few months later i had forgotten to make a payment to my insurance, my policy was cancelled, and i went to my broker to re-instate my policy. instead, i purchased a new policy which brought me down to $225/mo, and then two months ago, i went to re-write my policy again for the same reason as the first, and ended up paying only $133/mo on insurance .

that, and it also helped that i had "good driver discount" at the time.

now, i will try to get "good student discount" since my good driver discount will be gone now .

you can't lose with toyota/lexus and honda/acura nowadays IMO. mazda is coming up slowly too. all the new VW's are appealing, much better value than an audi. the a3 is waste in my opinion, rather get the GTI

why don't you go hatchback? they are fast.... but if you want to be king get the true rotary: rx-7

lol.....yes, the FDs can be quite pricey still. one that is in poor condition and have a whole bunch of miles on it will still run about a good $8,000 USD . One in excellent condition can be found for as much as $20k USD.

and the last gen = FD, which is what both of you guys were talking about .

i would like and FD, don't get me wrong, but the thing about that is that i need to have a car that is at least a 4 seater with the baby and all. you know, if i were to get an FD, where would the baby go? on the roof? that wouldn't work out at all. the girlie would dis own me for just even saying it
