How many Gum Chewers here?
Count me as a long time gum chewer. I don't smoke, drink, chew tobacco or dip snuff, but I DO enjoy my gum!
For nearly fifteen years now my pack of choice has been Wrigley's EXTRA Peppermint. I've had people ask me what I was chewing because my breath smelled so nice.
I chew so much of it that I buy it by the box at CostCo.
Anyway, I happened to run out and haven't had a chance to get by CostCo to replenish my supply yet. So, today, I stopped at a convenience store to pick up a Jumbo pack. Lo and behold, they don't stock my brand. I was really missing my gum, so, I decided on a substitute. (I do occasionally like Cinnamon or Winterfresh.) Today, I opted for a pack of EXTRA Polar Ice.
Let me tell you, I have NEVER had any gum in my mouth that so totally DISGUSTED me before! This stuff gave me the impression that I was chewing on BEN GAY! I don't know if anyone else has had this impression, but, this stuff has got to go. I'm making a special trip to CostCo tomorrow to get my ol' standby.

I chew Polar Ice all the time, I'll have to admit it was pretty strong when I first started chewing it but I got use to it after a while.

I think Dentyne Ice Arctic Chill would give your Extra Polar Ice a run for it's money. I tried a piece of that once, and it caused me to snot and gack for 15 minutes! Nasty stuff.. I don't mind gum, but I prefer Brach's Peppermints..

I can't really chew gum because I lack self-control. I have had this tendency ever since I was a kid to put all the sticks of gum in my mouth in the same time. I can't kick that habit.

If that's the case, Java, then I would suggest you revert back to Big League Chew. I can eat a bag of that stuff in a day, and it tastes great!

AirWaves is a gum made by Wrigglies and it's got that vapour stuff that helps clear your nose
I understand that it's a favourite amongst hardcore clubbers

Actually, I do have a little abnormality, too. I learned years ago that I have to chew TWO sticks at a time. Otherwise I bite my cheek too easily.

Reviving a very dead thread here. Please excuse me. But, I'm STILL hung up on Extra Peppermint. And, I still don't like Polar Ice all that much but will take it if the store is out of Peppermint.

as an ex-smoker it has to be any sort of gum really, except sugarless...I chew alot, but I dont smoke though...
on lasting thought though...you go to any street in London, and the pavement is literally covered in gooey globs of tossed gum...its almost as bad as cigarette butts..

I know, I know....
But, I was thinking about doing a poll and remembered.....or thought I remembered....doing something like this before. Just didn't realize it had been FOUR years ago! So, since this one was already handy...why do a second one, right?

Well, I like to chew gum also. My usual is Orbit White with Spearmint. It tastes whole lot different than other gums and I like it. I'm usually chewing a pack a day and buy 3-4 packs at a time so I'll never be without.
Btw, what else is good? I'm open to new tastes as long as it's not something fruity

Airwaves? They used to sell it in our stores but I haven't seen Airwaves about a year anymore. Maybe it wasn't a good sale because everyone here chews Orbit. Btw, I really like Orbit Professional. I forgot all about that.

lol - 'Professional' gum..... What? - do they claim its impossible to blow a bubble with it??
whats next..??;
"Hamburger V2 Home edition"
"New Preparation H - with built in hacker protection"
(this could actually be a *good* idea I suppose)
I just love/hate marketing buzzword crap like that...
Oh - and that 'Upgrade your tampon' - ad...
Cracks me up really.
I used to chew Trident (various flavors) - because '4 out 5 dentists recommend it' - then I wondered - whats that 5th dentist got against it??? so I took up smoking.
