My review on eVGA 6800 (Non GT)

Hello folks!
I got my new graphics card, a GeForce 6800 (Non GT) wioth 128MB AGP made by eVGA.

Well, This card is an incredible improvment in the matters of HDR lighting! but...
I must admit I expected more difference from my old 9600Uniqe card...

So, what did I really find out: Apparently, having only 128MB on the graphic card is not very good, it results in not beeing able to maximize the texture resolusion, and playing on a max resolution of 1024x768 on new games (Like CoD2 and F.E.A.R). Though I play these games on 800x600 with 4xAA and everything (Besides textures) is on maximum.

Also, this new card had brought to my attention that my older one was unique. now, after 6 months of having that old card I finally know why his speeds were'nt like any othere XT card: It featured full DX9 support! including SM3.0. How do I know that? wll, trust me, I can tell.

Remark: The new HDR lighting stuff is absolutly great! makes games look so good (If your card supports it and runs it good...).

So, it kind of bums me that I cannot run CoD2 on 1024x768 with AA and stuff with everything maxed out, but, I should have thought of that 128MB before I bought it.

Other than that: The card is great, Powerfull, and low cost. just make sure you don't care about maximizing the graphics.
