rolleyes Hyundai L72D not working with GF6800 ultra

Hi , hope someone can help me . I have built a new system with a brand new Gainward Ge Force 6800ultra golden Sample 2600 power pack(spec below) with a Hyundai L72D lcd monitor linked to this . After loading XP home itworked fine but as soon as i install forceware 71>84 or L8r the monitor goes into standby mode. If i remove the drivers again it works fine. i have not tweaked any of my systems frequencies all are set to default. If anyone out there can help i would be very grateful thanxs

sytem spec:- AMD64 3800+ , 1Gb corsair twinx pc3200 c2 pro series ram , Asus A8N Sli Deluxe Mobo , Gainward Ge Force 6800Ultra Golden Sample 2600 Power Pack 256Mb DDR3 Sli ,Maxtor Diamond Max +10 200Gb sata 150 , Hyundai L72D LCD Monitor.

Do you have the drivers for the panel installed prior to installing the video card drivers?

thanks for your intrest m8. yes i have the drivers installed and i've also checked for updates but as far as i can see none are available. it seems like the nvidia drivers are trying to use a refresh rate higher than what the monitor can handle, if thats possible . anymore suggestions very welcome thanks

Hmm question. Is there anything sharing IRQ's /w your video card?

all my IRQ`s are set to auto but wouldn`t that stop the monitor working altogether instead of only when the Nvidia drivers are installed . Could the Nvidia drivers change the IRQ settings? i didn`t think that would be possible.

I`ll certainly check that out though thanks again m8

No but once the card is fully opertional, and be "turned on" so to speak /w the drivers it could cause an issue like that.
