Looks like 7-Zip (
www.7-zip.org ) can open the archive, so then you can save the contents to a folder.
Not sure how well a Vanta would handle COD though - even the most basic current card now is many times more powerful, and even some that come up secondhand (unless you're stuck with PCI, when PCI versions of something even half-decent are quite rare), would be way better.
Anyway, I'd try "breaking out" the latest, or maybe going back a few, since they stopped tuning them for the older cards a long time ago.

Maybe even as far back as 28.32, 29.42 or 30.82 - the drivers before 40.x are likely to be better tuned.
43.45, I remember as a good, stable driver in Win98, for my old Geforce 2MX
The 53.x were ok, but 56 and later were problematic - I wonder if that carries throug for all lower cards, so maybe the 53.04 is worth trying first, apart from tearing open the one you have.
Once you've successfully split the driver open, so you can see a directory of files, then you go to the display properties.
(Rightclick desktop, properties)
Choose SETTINGS, then ADVANCED
ADAPTER tab, PROPERTIES, DRIVER tab
Update driver, NO to Windowsupdate (actually, you could try that!), Advanced
Now you can either point the search at the path you extracted the driver to, or use "don't search", and then point to them using "Have disk".
- The search way, will only offer an apparent, reasonable match, the "Have Disk" way means that you can force it though that is normally unwise.
