noob here is on a distinguished road

is there a way

is there a way to adjust the fan speed on my bfg asylum 5500 fx 256 MB gfx card if there is a tool can you tell me thanks im overclocking it and it will try to lock up from the heat. i got the core clocked at 452 and memory at 597 thanks

Only one program that I can suggest: RivaTuner. Take a look at it HERE on Gurus site. Should be what your looking for.

hey how come i dont have a fan option my card has a fan build into it so should it have a option thanks again

i don't know about all nvidia cards, but my fx5600xt did not have fan speed control. also w/ my radeon card there wasn't fan speed control before the x800 series (at least none of my old ones did)

Sorry 'bout that. RivaTuner was the only program that popped into my head that would have a fan control for Nvidia cards.. but I wasn't sure if it would work on yours. Depending on the manufacturer they sometimes will add little stuff to the boards, and in my server the 5600 has fan control. Just lucky I guess..

its ok im going to try and mout a diffrent fan on it that is like 3 times bigger but cant find a way to make it stay on the card you guys now of any suggestions thanks or i might get me this http://www.thermaltake.com/watercool...r/cl-w0005.htm and cool it off with another heatsink and tube hehehe
