I have a geforce 5600 XT 128 mb but I got a problem now when I play games the game is working normal but suddently the game freeze and making a weird sound I can't do anything I need to press the reset button on my computer.

but when I tried some stuff and started the game again suddently my pc felt down and said it was fixing a serious error so I clicked on more information and that said something about drivers.

-I reinstaled grapic driver nvidia and format C didn't work

so I thought maybe overheat so I removed both sided from my computer and got a extra fan that is blowing inside my computer didn''t work asswell

you guys can help me out ?

hmm I red some other topics about that doom 3 is freezing after playing a while
and that doom 3 goes by open gl do I need some special drivers for that? cause I only instaled the latest nvidia driver and my sound nothing else

I think it just may be you're older vid card. I had a 256mb 5600 or 5700 I can't rememeber, I kept my drivers updated, but still had a few 'glitches' while playing vampire:bloodlines...I got a 6800gt now and all is sweet. Soooo, it could just be that your hardware is dated

hmm I fixed it already the problem was that my magic bios wasn't updated I updated it and it is working perfect :>
