Cant Delete ATI Files

Ok I have a GeForce 6800 and I used to have an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro. I uninstalled the drivers and then ran Driver Cleaner Pro to remove anything else. Well the cleaner got everything except the files under "ATI WDM" it will show them being deleted then I run the cleaner again and it shows them being deleted again. So I went to the folder and deleted them myself and refreshed the page and they came back? What is going on here? The files are called:

atinpdxx.sys
atinraxx.sys
atinrvxx.sys
atinttxx.sys
atintuxx.sys
atinxsxx.sys
atinsnxx.sys
atinxbxx.sys

Does anyone know what these files are or why the wont delete. Or do you know of a method to remove them?

sound like windows file protection kicking in, try deleteing them in safe mode
