when will 512mb cards be out??

i read an article saying theyll be out in april, but i just sold my computer (the one in sig, but not the ram and sound card). so im ordering all the new parts i can get as of now. so the only things im waiting for are the 512mb 6800U and the logitec 518 mouse. when are the cards coming out??

Wont really matter....256 hasnt been used to its fullest potential...I personally reccomend a 256 card for now...get a 6800gt or Ultra 256...

i know that i dont need 512mb now (with my 3gb of ram 2 :P) but im just looking to the future. paying $700-800 for a 512 card now, or spending $500-600 on a 256mb and another $500 when you need the 512mb card (prices will most likely go down by then).

frankly..you wont get a whole lot of gain from it...but thats my opinion...I know if you're going to wait to get the 512 the price will go down on the 256' versions..and would make a heap of sense to get that...But if you're gonna drop that much for a card..christ...hope you get a new PSU and some other stuff too...

yah im getting a whole new computer. the psu is 430W

a 430W psu for a PCI-E slot should be more than enough.
