sound like your video's under powerd
especially with only 32mb of video ram!
GeForce4 420 Go:
190 MHz Core / 200 mhz 64bit memory, NV17M,
hardware support direct X 7.0, Vertex Shader Version T&L only,
2 pixel pipes with 2 texture units each, 2 vertex shaders...
Have you tried turning the settings / resoultion way down... make sure your not useing any AA or AF etc.....

Sorry i'm not.... Yes you system specs are fine you video's specs is not. Buness laptops arent targeted for gameing period. Least i'd assume that
from the lousy video....
I think you mised reading the specs of your card that I posted your video card supports
only supports
Direct X 7 and below via hardware. Just becouse it can run DX8/DX9 doesnt mean it has
any hardware support becouse you card does not. It also has NO pixel shader support only T&L.
Don't belive me? read it for your self.

Alot of games have fallbacks for example HL2 is DX9, but it also backword support DX8 and DX7. You just loose the specaly effects and IQ improvment each new DX has brung....
Like I said before being a low end card... Have you tried turning the settings / resoultion way down... make sure your not useing any AA or AF etc.....
You should be able to play the game fine you just cant crack up the AA/AF or any ofthe eye candy if you do you'll likely have FPS problems....
Quake3 is an old game but so is your laptops video soultion
