Geforce 6800 ultra twin monitor set-up

Help,I wish to set up output 1 of the 6800 ultra video card to 1280x1024 (19" monitor) & output 2 to 800x600 (a Seleco 500 projector) which I believe this is the max resolution I can go to. The problem is if I select "clone" mode in the Nvidia set up the program resets the resolution to higher than 800x600 and therfore the projector can not sync the signal. The other option I have tried is "duel view" mode, this has 2 problems, one there are no desktop icons on the projector (but are visable on the 19" monitor) & secondly the display is missing about 30% from all 4 sides of the screen.

To summarize is it possible to run one output in 1280x1024 & the other in 800x600 showing all the icons on a full screen desktop?

Also tried the TV output to projector but very poor quality signal.

Not that I'm aware of...

I run dual monitors at two different resolutions, but I don't have them cloned (then again, I also use ATi, and it's been awhile since I used nV dual monitors). I know my school has projectors cloning the desktop of the computer, but they use expensive external converters, I think.
